Algar Telecom acquires Vogel Telecom for R$ 600 million
Algar Telecom signed a contract to acquire Vogel Telecom for R$ 600 million, taking 85.2% to 100% of the shares from the Pátria fund. Vogel specializes in the corporate and wholesale market, with a network of 27,000 km covering 150 cities in 13 states and the Federal District. This acquisition aligns with Algar's geographical expansion strategy in the lucrative B2B market, aiming to complement its existing network and enable immediate access to new high-potential locations. The transaction will expand Algar's fiber optic network to 110,000 km and add 3,400 corporate clients, driving significant operational synergies and market growth.
