A sprinkle of magic + ☕️ = 🛫 Think of an airplane like a big bird with wings. When an airplane moves forward, air flows over its wings. The shape of the wings makes the air move faster over the top of the wing than underneath it. This creates an area of low pressure on top and high pressure underneath, which lifts the plane up into the air. So, the wings create lift, allowing the airplane to fly.
