Traditional pound cake! So many eggs! 2 c butter (4 sticks softened) 2 c granulated sugar 9 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla extract (optional) 3 1/4 c flour 1 tsp salt 1. Cream butter and sugar 2. Add eggs one at a time into mixture 3. Add vanilla (if using) 4. Combine salt with flour and slowly add to mixture 5. Pour batter in pre greased tube pan 6. Bake at 325 for 65 - 75 minutes 7.
