Jimmy Page’s 1959 Gibson Les Paul Burst… Jimmy and this guitar met sometime around 1969, while on tour in San Francisco. Page was previously playing a Fender Telecaster, which he customized with a psychedelic painting of a dragon done by himself. This guitar was his main tool for some years, and unfortunately, was starting to feel the brunt force of touring life.
